Welcome to Picklada. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and related services (together, the "Platform"). By using our Platform, you agree to these Terms along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund & Return Policy, all of which form part of this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Our Services

We connect you with trusted local vendors for essentials, groceries, fresh produce, and other categories we may introduce in the future. Orders placed through the Platform are fulfilled by these vendors, while deliveries are managed by our own delivery partners.

Note: All product listings, availability, and prices are provided on a best-effort basis. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to stock, traffic, weather, or operational factors.

Account & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into contracts under Indian law.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information when registering or placing an order.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Orders & Deliveries

  • Placing an order creates a contract between you and the vendor to purchase the product, with Picklada acting as a facilitator and delivery operator.
  • Orders are subject to vendor availability. If an item is unavailable, we may suggest a replacement or process a refund as per our Refund Policy.
  • Delivery will be attempted at the address provided by you. If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, unavailability, or restricted access, your order may be marked as undeliverable.

Payments

  • Currently, we accept Cash on Delivery (COD).
  • Refunds for COD orders will be processed via UPI transfer after product pickup and verification, as explained in our Refund & Return Policy.
  • In the future, we may offer online payment options (UPI, cards, wallets, net banking). Such transactions will be securely processed by third-party payment providers. We will not store your complete payment details.

Returns & Refunds

  • Returns and refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Return Policy.
  • Refunds are conditional upon product pickup and verification.
  • Perishable items must be reported within the timelines specified in that policy.

Use of the Platform

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the Platform without our permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity or provide false information.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.

Vendor & Delivery Partner Role

  • Vendors are responsible for product quality, freshness, and accuracy.
  • We, as the delivery operator, are responsible for safe and timely delivery to the extent reasonably possible.
  • Your contact details (phone number, address) may be shared with vendors and delivery partners only for fulfilling your order.

Limitation of Liability

  • We do not guarantee that the Platform or services will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the order in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including delays, loss of profits, or product issues attributable to vendors.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Picklada, its affiliates, vendors, and delivery partners from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your misuse of the Platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of any law.

Changes to Services or Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or discontinue services at any time, with or without notice, for operational or legal reasons.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi. Disputes may be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the proceedings conducted in English.
